Rig Manager
A Rig Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations and crew of a service rig in the oil and gas industry. Their primary duties include ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulations while performing well servicing, completions, workovers, and maintenance operations.

Derrickhand
A Derrickhand on a service rig is responsible for working in the derrick and handling the tubing and equipment during well servicing operations. They assist the Driller and Rig Manager while ensuring smooth operations with operating the pumps and work done in the derrick.
Driller

A Driller on a service rig is responsible for operating and controlling the rig’s drilling and servicing equipment during well intervention, completions, workovers, and maintenance activities. They ensure safe and efficient operations while leading the crew and responding to downhole conditions.

Greenhand
A Greenhand on a service rig is an entry-level worker with little to no prior experience in the oil and gas industry. They assist the crew with general labor tasks while learning rig operations, safety procedures, and equipment handling. Each greenhand has to perform a 90-day greenhand assessment. This role is the first step toward advancing in the service rig industry.
Floorhand

A Floorhand on a service rig is an entry-level but essential role responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the rig.
They work under the direction of the Driller and Rig Manager, performing physically demanding tasks to ensure efficient and safe well servicing.
